When my husband got a job offer in Eastern Europe, I was excited about the opportunity but concerned about how we were going to get our Newfie, Millie, overseas. After becoming overwhelmed by all of the details involved, we decided to use a pet transportation company. Millie is about a hundred pounds, and she’s a hefty girl, so she couldn’t be transported in a standard crate. We were also on a short timeline for the move, so I was pretty stressed out about how everything was going to come together. Our transportation company recommended Express Pet Movers to have a custom crate built, and that’s when I was put in contact with Cissy. To say she was AMAZING would be an understatement. From the first moment we spoke, she put my mind at ease about the process and assured me everything would be taken care of. Not only was she 100% knowledgeable about airline crate requirements and specifications, but she was also warm, friendly, funny, reassuring, and above all, genuine and trustworthy. She went out of her way to make sure I didn’t have to worry about anything, and I felt completely comfortable putting my baby girl’s needs in her hands. I never had the opportunity to directly thank her husband, John, but he created a masterpiece! The crate he built is absolutely incredible, and it’s very clear he takes pride in his work, down to the smallest details! I honestly can’t say enough good things about how wonderful this company is. Because of Missy’s old age, it was imperative that wemake her relocation as relaxed as possible. When we had no other options (not to mention all the added stress with out-of-state relocation) you made sure to accommodate our needs. We all know that our beloved pets are just like children! Although I’m pregnant and a bit emotional, I felt SO at ease when you and Missy warmed right up to each other and she LEAPED into the van. Every time I called you, I was sure you thought I was a bit “coo-coo-crazy”, but with each and every phone call you always reassured me that you were available and the phone calls were no bother. You are such a trustworthy fun-loving gal; we love our pit bull and were so pleased that you did not discriminate strictly against any particular breeds and treated our baby as if she were your very own. Our driver sent us videos/pictures with a text daily, which we greatly appreciated.
The admin staff went so far out of their way to meet our schedule. After talking with office personnel who answered all of my questions I felt very comfortable. We felt that our pets would be so well taken care of during the move. Their driver had frequent communication letting us know where he was and what the dogs were up to.
I was impressed with the whole operation, bragged on it and have already recommended it. It met my needs and more and my fur babies are all the better for it! The driver far exceeded my expectations, which were high. Obviously cared for animals, went above and beyond, was attentive to their needs and mine and kept me well informed.
EXPRESS PET MOVERS has been transporting our cats for about 10 years, and there has never been a problem. The people I have worked with have been pleasant – I feel like they are old friends – and helpful – arranging pick ups and drop offs to make it all easier for the cats. Their concern for the pets is obvious.

Our driver did a great job of picking my cats up on time and returning them to me healthy and happy and on time. He was always available to answer the phone and my cats arrived in good shape. When my daughter was forced to leave Mabel, a rescue from the street behind, she never dreamed she would ever see her again. But now Mabel is helping to heal her broken heart. .My daughter is feeling much better since Mabel has come back to her forever home. That dog has not left her side, and I know she remembers. Mabel has gone to work with her the past 2 days and has slept right by her side How this dog survived I will never know. I sincerely believe that dog spelled backwards is God is not a coincidence. Initially a little hesitant, but all went according to plan and adequate notice was given. I probably called my driver 5-7 times, and he was always available. I felt Rosie was in good hands throughout the trip. Office staff were extremely helpful in answering questions and preparing us to hand over Rosie to the driver.
